The Avenue
A True Story
Welcome to The Avenue
The Home of 1066 Housing Action
Sponsored by Petal a true story by Graeme and Lisa Morgan
16th November 2007 Following a letter from 1066 Housing Association in regard to the fake Panel hearing It was decided at last nights board meeting that Churchill United would continue to fight on and that we would change our name to 1066 Housing Action. We would like to thank everyone involved for their continued interest and support.
Churchill United at a meeting last night (11th June 2007) decided that we will close down. We agreed on this action only because of the continuing dispute with our Housing Association 1066 H.A and their extremely dishonest methods of dealing with complaints.
We will continue with the complaint process through the Ombudsman office and beyond if necessary.
Despite the resistance we met from a dishonest landlord and an idle Red Lake R.A we still managed to unite the local teenagers and many of the older local residents.
We gained a 100% positive ebay feedback rating of 132 and we built and maintained several successful web sites for other organisations.
The local Red Lake R.A who originally accused us of "sitting on our bums" have been put to shame and shown to do little more than "sit on their bums"
We will over the next couple of weeks be giving away our stock/assets to deserving causes. Our mobile home is going to a homeless couple and the rest will be given to help groups or deserving individuals.
We will build a complete and very accurate history of Churchill United on this site and the Churchill United site will become a friends site. The 1066 domain names that we own will be auctioned off on our Japanese friends site to the lowest bidder.
Our existing LC friends site received 691,000 visits since its start and we now have 1135 worldwide friends who regularly show support.
Our new book "The Avenue" will be released in December 2007 it is a very funny story and you will be able to download it for free from this site.
We wish anyone whose aim it is to help the local residents/teenagers the best of luck in any effort that they make but we no longer believe that any genuine success is possible while progress/acceptance is governed by liars and cheats like 1066 H.A and Red Lake R.A.
Our local councillors and M.P,s have shown a total disregard for the way these two groups conducted themselves but for us the biggest let down was Steve Harriott and Amicus Horizon who we think are guilty of misrepresentation in their claims of encouraging "Tenant Involvement" and in the way they claim to deal with complaints fairly or keep to their own company charter.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us and showed support and we hope that you will join our new friends site. Now Red Lake R.A will have to look elsewhere for idea,s and we all agreed at last nights meeting that the most important reason why we cannot carry on is because our children are the most important things in our lives and we believe that in their desperation to gain support against us Red Lake R.A and 1066 have been/are encouraging our young children to trust people they should not.
.We have recieved the decision of the Stage 3 complaints panel today and it is very disappointing. I will post the entire document here later today along with the reasons that we will continue our fight for the promised football kit and a fair solution to our other reasonable complaints. The references made to Sandown field and the park in Rock Lane are we think depressing. 1.) If the area behind this park is not big enough to use as a play area wh could it not be turned into a little family picnic area to replace the field they stole from us all at Broadlands. Children play much safer when their parents are with them. 2.) If this area is owned by 1066 why would Sandown School erect a fence across their property? or is this like the gate at Broadlands erected by 1066? Jst wondering.
We are all neighbour
You can support Churchill United by sitting in your armchair. Use you vote by Not Using It. All we ever get from councillors are empty promises. An unused vote is Not a wasted vote it is a very clear and important message. You pay their wages there are things that We can change together. We can make them EARN THEM! Do to them what they have done to us for years. DON,T LISTEN TO THEM! From now on every time a councillor or MP is elected in this area He/She had better make sure they buy all websites in their name because we will and we will publish their let downs.
Our website www.churchillunited.co.uk http://www.churchillunited.co.uk/ will remain active. It is now our main site and our other sites will be used for other purposes.
